Art has helped us understand ourselves better in certain areas. We can find out how we feel by the colours that we use, we can find out what we're thinking from what we draw. Some of us can even find out how the past has affected us, like how a fight with our parents could scar us, or the happiness it gave us, like how the smile on a homeless man's face was when we dropped him a coin.
As we get older, our mindset changes, and as it changes, we notice what's going on, and we also notice other things as we become self aware, and being self aware can mean a lot. If you become truly self aware, you can stop yourself from doing that bad habit, you can go on a diet, you can get more active, make time for hobbies, and much more. In the drama room, next to the Odeum, Mr.Morton had one group of students lie down, and listen to a recording as they relaxed and focused on different parts of their bodies.
One activity done from the end of lunch to the end of the day was the mannequin challenge, for example- ten people stand as still as statues while camera gets different views.
As the camera gets different views, different parts of the scene show. We had to stand as still as we can. We had to take a second try on one part, but here is the raw, un-edited video of our Mannequin Challenge. Enjoy!
