The 6th graders went to Nandi Hills on 23/11/16 and we hiked up and down one of the hills known as Brahamagiri. It was part of our CL (Contextual Learning) trip. Going uphill was so much more tiring, but we were allowed to sit down and have water, so it wasn't so bad. There was so much momentum going downhill, so it was way more dangerous than going uphill. As a result, more people got hurt going downhill. Some people sprained their ankles or cut themselves, but overall we still had a great time.
Once we reached the top we could see a very long ways away. We saw many mountains and farms from the top. We had lunch at the summit, and then we had to go back down. Both uphill and down hill, we picked up trash, only plastic and paper though. After we picked all the trash that we found, we used hand sanitizer.
It was nice to get outside and get some extra exercise. We all had more stamina than we thought.
We proved to ourselves that we were stronger than we thought.
