Taking a stroll on Yelahanka Lake Bridge at 9:00 in the morning is a perfect way to start a day. The beat of every footstep on the dirt. Beautiful paintings of sea creatures and birds covering a teal background.
We started painting again, with every stroke of the brush making the bridge better. Blue, Green, Black, all kinds of colours composed to make a Mural painting. Different colours on each of the different animals. Ms. Devaki was guiding us on how to paint in the lines. We had finally finished the 300 foot long bridge. Then we had the thanking ceremony, were all of us took a picture. The art teacher, the manager, and the painters sat on a chair holding a trophy that symbolised their hard work.
We also worked on pottery today. We made elephants and they looked really realistic. First, we worked on the body, made the legs, then the head and trunk, and lastly the tail. Our hands were really messy, so we had to go to the crowded bathroom to wash our hands. The cleanup after that was a major hardship for us.
Later that day, we started cooking pancakes. The ones that we made were banana pancakes, which, surprisingly, turned out great. First we started to put the mixture together, which consisted of baking soda, flour, and eggs. We then whisked the mixture until there were no lumps left. We put some of the mixture on the pan, and waited for the pancake to heat up. After two minutes, we flipped the pancake and waited again. When it was ready, we put some honey on it, and enjoyed the delicious dish.
